i gave birth to my son in July 2007. i started using cocoa butter to remove stretch marks on and off. they seemed lightened. i was told to use it everyday while working out and after every shower but for how long? are there any other products or ways to remove them quicker?

They don’t go away, they fade.
Let me know if you have anymore questions!!
Coco butter is the best thing to lighten them. If you start gaining weight or get pregnant again I would suggest for you to start using it before you get more. Coco butter prevents them as well as lightening them!
It’s really up to your skin how long it will take. I would say just keep doing it till you think they are faded enough or you get tired of it. It’s always good to at least put it on before bed or out of the shower even if you arn’t wanting to get rid of anything because coco butter is good for your skin!
I hope this helped.

Cocoa butter is about the only thing you can do. Just continue to work out and if they are light colored maybe lay in the tanning bed or the sun to make them blend in with your skin. With light skin people I know its easier for them to get rid of. I take it you have dark skin?

There is still no scientific evidence that a stretch mark remover cream can get rid of stretch marks forever. But some creams can greatly improve the appearance of your stretch marks and speed up fading them.
1: Revitol Stretch Mark Prevention Cream
2: TriLASTIN-SR
Both can be used during or after pregnancy and have money-back guarantees.

Fresh stretch marks appear initially as red lines and then slowly fade to a pale white color over the course of several months. Below is the link regarding Stretch Marks.http://hubpages.com/hub/Learn–How-to-Ge…

Stretch marks fade off with time but it is difficult to get rid of them completely .Massage with sesame seed oil regularly to fade off stretch marks.
